Aesthetic Nurse, Founder
Aaron Willhite-Ruiz, MSN RN
Aaron, founder of The LAB Aesthetics and Wellness, developed a diverse clinical background as a Neuroscience, Emergency and Home Infusion nurse since starting his nursing career in 2011. He graduated Suma Cum Laude from United States University in 2024 with his Masters in Nursing. He wants to share his passion for science led aesthetics and wellness with you. With an eye for detail and understanding the importance of listening to his patients, Aaron can provide the aesthetic results you want.
Registered Nurse
Jamie Miller, RN
Jamie is originally from Montana. He has lived in Spokane since the 1980s and brings to the Lab a wide range of experience in his 27 years of Nursing.
He began his Nursing career here in Spokane in 1995.
His experience ranges from management in skilled rehab, orthopedics, cardiopulmonary disease, post operative surgical care, wound treatment, nutritional wellness, IV therapy, diabetic management and medication education.
Jamie takes pride in working with individuals to assist in improving their overall health & well being.

Alexis Santos, LME
Alexis is thrilled to bring on new services and be a part of The LAB Aesthetics and Wellness! With 2 years of experience in the world of esthetics, she found her calling for facials, acne healing, and waxing. She’s discovered her true passion is helping others feel beautiful in their skin. Raised in Moses Lake, she have lived in Spokane for over 5 years now. Within that time, she have earned her Associate’s Degree, graduated from Glen Dow’s Master Esthetics program, and opened her own business. When she’s not working she enjoys being outside, thrifting, and spending time with loved ones. She hopes to meet you soon!

Amy Hiestand, ARNP-BC
Amy Hiestand is an ARNP. She is originally from Montana, born and raised. She moved here to Spokane in 1995. She has been in the medical field since 1990. She has worked in many areas of the medical field and her passion is to help people in all aspects of their health and wellness journey. She has worked in the Emergency Department setting for the past 32 years. She has been doing health and wellness since 2008. She graduated from Gonzaga University with her ARNP in 2006.
In her time off of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and her grandson. They have a beautiful ranch and have many horses and take them trail riding, exploring and camping. They enjoy fly fishing, skiing, traveling and just being outside at their ranch. She looks forward to meeting you!

Tyler Nelsen
Tyler was born and raised in the Coeur d’Alene/ Spokane area and has been working in aesthetics for over 6 years. With a background in customer service, management, and marketing, he loves being able to work with and build relationships with every patient at The LAB. Tyler specializes in skincare and skin treatments and strives to always provide each patient with a customized approach!
