Neurotoxins

Need a smoother, more refreshed look? Neurotoxins can enhance the skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines and preventing more from forming.

One of the first signs of aging you may notice is the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. There are many factors that play into the creation of these fine lines, like excessive sun exposure and the general aging process. Also, making facial expressions such as smiling or squinting make the facial muscles contract, resulting in more wrinkles. This is where neurotoxins come into play to help prevent this muscle contraction.

Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau are some of the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedures performed. It effectively treats aging concerns at the cause. Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau can smooth dynamic wrinkles from repetitive muscle movement which in turn helps decrease the signs of aging and can have your skin looking naturally refreshed and youthful. They are also a fantastic remedy as a preventative measure for developing further fine lines. Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau gradually kicks in within 3-14 days and steadily wears off after 3-4 months.

What are Neurotoxins?

Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau, target the nervous system, disrupting the nerve signaling processes that stimulate muscle contraction. This is how we cause temporary muscle paralysis. Neurotoxin injections prevent the nerve signaling, which stops the muscle cells from contracting. In this way, the toxin helps the muscles to become less stiff, which results in diminishing existing wrinkles, as well as preventing them from worsening in the future.

Where can neurotoxins be used?

Forehead

Freeze or limit the amount of movement on your forehead. Or you can achieve a subtle brow lift.

11’s (Glabella)

Stop your scowl in its tracks. Reduce the look of the current fine lines and limit future ones from forming.

Eyes

Achieve your smile without your crows feet joining too.

Lips

Not sure if you’re ready for filler? A “lip flip” may be a good place to start. Adding a neurotoxin above or below the lip can enhance a pout.

Neck

Reduce the lines that form in your neck by stopping the flexing of your neck bands.

Jaw (TMJ)

Struggle with a tight jaw or TMJ? Adding a neurotoxin to your jaw can reduce the pain. This can also create the look of a slimmer face.
